Fire Up Your mind, body, & soul

Energize your body. Light up your mind. Ignyte your soul.

NAMASTE & WELCOME

Yoga allows us to connect โ€“ to ourselves, to others, to life, and to the basic intrinsic nature of self-love, kindness, compassion, and gratitude. Every time you spend time on the mat is an opportunity to focus, center, balance, and cleanse.

Yoga, like life, is very much an individual journey. One that is different for everyone. Some people do yoga to increase their flexibility. Others to reduce their stress levels. Some do it to be a part of a social group or community. Whatever the reason, weโ€™re here to help energize your body, fire up your mind, and ignite your soul.

Whatโ€™s your why?

New to yoga?

And wondering if itโ€™s right for you? We get it. Itโ€™s normal to think you have to be flexible, strong, or experienced to try yoga. But this couldnโ€™t be farther from the truth. Itโ€™s called a yoga โ€œpracticeโ€ not a yoga โ€œperfectโ€ for a reason. Weโ€™ve all had ups and downs in our own practice. Trial and tribulations. But the benefits far outweigh the speed bumps. And each one of us started in our own way and weโ€™ve grown in our individual practices on our own time. With each class, we promise that youโ€™ll get more comfortable and see the benefits that yoga can bring into your life! The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.

What is infrared hot yoga?

The infrared hot yoga experience is very similar to performing yoga in the warmth of the summer sun. When youโ€™re outdoors in the sunlight, youโ€™re not warmed by the heat of the air around you, but rather the infrared rays of the sun. Infrared light will heat surfaces that are capable of absorbing infrared rays. This means you get to experience the benefits of sunlight without harmful UV exposure.

This is the biggest distinction between infrared and traditional hot yoga. Traditional hot yoga relies on heated air that is forced into the room. So objects are not warmed, only the air in the room. And the environment created for a traditional forced-air hot yoga session can often feel stuffy and leave you feeling parched and dehydrated. In contrast, hot yoga using infrared heat is often more comfortable because the infrared panels disburse heat evenly and silently. You, your mat, and other objectives in the room simply absorb the heat naturally. Just like standing outside in the sun.

In fact, the Journal of the American College of Cardiology and the Mayo Clinic report that infrared therapy improves the functioning of blood vessels, reduces cholesterol, increases circulation, improves flexibility, supports weight loss, speeds recovery, and lowers blood sugar levels.
